I got my first mini pineapple in stonewashed titanium years ago and was mildly disappointed with the led's tint as the nichia led's improved over the subsequent years and newer torches that I bought.

Now I've got a kickass 3000k XPL to match the one in my LAN Apple and it fit perfectly after shaving down the little raised plastic rim that surrounds the led with a sharp blade...

Love everything about it.

Seriously. I was so happy that I could buy a replacement pill assembly. My mini pineapple had a mighty fall and broke. It was super easy to replace the assembly and it worked again! Now I know that I'm able to repair my flashlights in the future!
