I just took some photos of the copper one, the other photos are from last batch, just for referrence.
They are raw brass or copper, there is no protective coating.  It should patina very fast.
After polishing, washing and drying, I use both rubber and cotton gloves during assembling.  Though it can patina a little before or after sealed in vacuum bag.

The programmings are actually very alike.
old is: Full click (to lock), half clicks~~~ wait for the flashes/blinks, and half click again to choose.
New is: half clicks (and hold)~~~ wait for the flashes/blinks, and half click again to choose, full click (to lock)
(after half click to choose, pls also hold it. Because if we release the button, the power will go off, and the electronic brain will not remember the choice.)

Raw Brass has my heart

Really impressed by this fantastic little light. I've run it with the included battery, and tried with standard AAA and it's been a total joy. It's in my pocket or cross body every day now, and even just took it from Canada to Ireland, to Spain, and back. I ordered the deep carry clip which goes around the body of the flashlight instead of using the 2 screws that hold on the original clip. I would love to see some little plugs come with the deep cary clip to plug up the holes that are left there, but honestly it's only noticeable when you're sitting there staring and admiring the light! All in all FANTASTIC!

Almost Perfection

Just wish it didn’t utilize PWM.

Great light, funky button and not clear instructions

Gorgeous light that's well built and works wonderfully.

My biggest gripe is the instructions on how to use it and program it were lacking. I had to go through multiple online forums and YouTube videos to get this updated style of button click programming to work. Once I figured it out it worked great, but it was not intuitive and the supporting documentation online was lacking.

My only other criticism is that the button feels "crunchy" sometimes if I don't carefully press it down straight. If it goes sideways at all the sides of the button rub on the body of the light and it feels like it wants to jam, for lack of a better explanation.

Overall great light and I don't regret my purchase, but one star off for bad instructions and questionable rear button clearance/interface.

Very Good Small flaslight

I like the flashlight but the feel of the button isn’t great. I personally prefer the switch of my LANapple. Hopefully we can get a conversion kit in the future.
