LANapple Zirconium: Perfection!

Many moons ago I obtained a Ti LAN and it immediately became my most often used and enjoyed light. The machining was exquisite, the design gorgeous and the 219b SW45K had an ideal tint to my eyes. I was truly in love with it.

Fast forward to today and the chance to have the same design made out of an alloy I've always dreamed of having: zirconium. When it arrived I was astounded at its incredible beauty and solidity. The completely unique color subtly varies with light and is breathtaking to look at with its smooth clean lines. I was expecting something wonderful but in real life it exceeded my wishes.

Rey kindly fitted it with my favorite 219b SW45K and made it my perfect light. Worth the price of admission.

Thank you Rey for making it possible to have a light that is as much a true work of art as well as being practical. Zirconium truly is a god tier material for flashlights and the LANapple is an execution of Earthly perfection.

Titanium vs Zirconium, blue or purple?

Both machined beautifully, both stunning. Can’t choose, get both!

Was Expecting Nice But Received Great

When I originally purchased the LANapple Zirconium, I was expecting it to look like a raw titanium color. However, it is more of a gun metal gray colour that changes depending on your environment. It did not disappoint.

So Satisfying

This is an upgrade from my Ti LAN with Nichia 219c (I don't remember the temp). The timascus is beautiful and it's a couple of grams lighter. It feels good in the hand with its highly polished smooth surface and the milling that provides enough grip. The 519a is brighter and I love the tint. Rey is friendly and quick to answer questions.
